I often come in when it's lunch time and it's my go to spot for a hot bowl of ramen in Orange city.Char su pork ramen is the best. You guys must come and try this out.

It's been a while since I first ate here, but I tried it out again today after some shopping. It's located inside the Mainplace Mall in Santa Ana. There's ample seating available, so that's no issue. It's also pretty clean, too. The menu still has the classics including wonton soup both with and without chili oil. I ordered the Chili Oil Wonton and I thought it was good. It was decently spicy, too. You get about 10 won ton pieces, some with pork and some with shrimp. The portion is also just right for a quick single serve meal, too. The food prep only took about 10ish minutes, so the service is fast. It's worth a try if you're looking for a bite after day of shopping.

Mrs Bean can be found inside Santa Ana MainPlace Mall but you won't find it in the food court. Instead the restaurant is located on the end of the mall by JCPenney and across from Boudin SF. They are know for their Jianbing and they offer a Beef and Veggie variant. Described as a "Chinese burrito served with egg, lettuce, fried crisp, scallion, cilantro, sauce", this is our favorite item off their menu. We've also tried their Xiao Long Bao and Kung Pao Chicken Chow Mein, but IMO you can find better elsewhere. Next time you're shopping at MainPlace and are looking for something to eat, I recommend visiting Mrs Bean to try their Jianbing.

Finally got to try the beef jianbing. It was pretty good, lot of veggie. It was also my first time tried the dandan noodle. It was good too, salty and a little sweet. Not sure if the noodle was handmade or not but it was yummy. We also got a milk tea. The tea taste was a bit interesting but I like it how it's not sweet. Will come back to try other dishes.

It's been a long time since I've been back to this place. After all these years I'm glad it's still here. Not a lot of places have food court stalls with this specific cuisine, I really appreciate it

I came across this place at the Mainplace Mall, and have been meaning to try it for a long time. Mrs. Bean specializes in jianbing, or a fried pancake/crepe with egg batter and flour. I got a vegetarian jianbing one which was stuffed with a crispy fried cracker, hoisin, and some chili sauce. It was freshly made and delicious. I couldn't stop thinking about it. I will definitely come back and try other items from their menu, like their soup dumplings, the braised beef noodle soup, and dan dan noodles. Happy eating!

Nice change from mall food court Saturday lunch, mall is pretty empty and the restaurant is not too busy but looks like they have a steady flow of delivery orders. Ordered the beef Jianbing and Dan-Dan noodles. Beef Jianbing is a wrap with egg in the outside. The wrap has a new chew with some sauce. Inside is lettuce beef cilantro and some fried crunchy noodles. Great textures and flavors. Pretty filling. Dan dan noodles has a small amount of soup at the bottom, boiled egg, beef sauce and veggies. Mix it around for a tasty bowl of noodles. Don't forget the chili oil on the tables. Overall great change to mall food, location is across from Boudin.
